Is your service mobile?

Yes! We come to your location for most services. This minimizes downtime and keeps your operations running smoothly.

Do you offer loaner batteries?

Yes, we provide free loaner batteries with qualifying service work. Contact us to confirm availability for your specific needs.

Reconditioning Questions

What is battery reconditioning?

Reconditioning is a process that reverses sulfation buildup and restores battery capacity. It includes deep discharge, controlled charging, equalization, and load testing. Most batteries can be restored to 80-100% of original capacity.

How long does reconditioning take?

Most reconditioning takes 4-8 hours depending on battery size and condition. We can often complete service the same day, or provide a loaner if needed.

How long will a reconditioned battery last?

A properly reconditioned battery typically lasts 2-5 additional years, depending on usage patterns and maintenance. Regular quarterly maintenance extends this further.

Can all batteries be reconditioned?

Most batteries can be reconditioned if they have at least 50% capacity and no physical damage. We'll test your battery first and give you an honest assessment.

Do you guarantee your reconditioning?

Yes, all reconditioning comes with a 90-day warranty. If the battery doesn't perform as expected, we'll make it right.

Pricing Questions

Why do you publish your prices?

We believe in transparency. Published pricing lets you make informed decisions without waiting for quotes or feeling pressured. You know what things cost before you call.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Our quoted prices include diagnostics, labor, materials, and mobile service. The price you see is the price you pay.

Do you offer discounts for multiple batteries?

Yes! We offer fleet pricing for 5+ batteries and can create custom maintenance contracts. Contact us for a quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Net-30 terms available for established business customers.

Service & Maintenance Questions

How often should batteries be maintained?

We recommend quarterly maintenance (every 3 months) for batteries in regular use. This includes watering, cleaning, and inspection to catch problems early.

What's included in preventive maintenance?

Our standard package includes watering, terminal cleaning, visual inspection, specific gravity testing, and a written condition report. Premium service adds full load testing.

Can you repair batteries on-site?

Yes, most repairs including cable replacement, connector repair, and minor case repairs can be done on-site. Cell replacement may require shop work depending on battery size.

How long do repairs take?

Most repairs take 1-3 hours on-site. Cell replacement may take 1-2 days if shop work is required. We'll provide a loaner if available.

Testing Questions

When should I have my battery tested?

Test your battery if you notice: shorter runtime, slow charging, uneven cell voltages, or if it's been more than 2 years since last testing.

What does a load test tell me?

A load test measures how your battery performs under actual working conditions. It reveals capacity loss, weak cells, and helps predict remaining service life.

Do I get a written report?

Yes, all testing includes a detailed written report with our findings and recommendations. You'll know exactly what condition your battery is in.

Replacement vs Repair Questions

How do I know if I need reconditioning or replacement?

We'll test your battery first. If it retains at least 50% capacity with no physical damage, reconditioning usually works. We'll always recommend the most cost-effective solution.

How much can I save vs buying new?

Reconditioning typically costs $325-$795 vs $4,000-$15,000 for new batteries. That's up to 70% savings while extending battery life 2-3 years.

When does replacement make sense?

Replacement is best when: battery capacity is below 50%, there's severe physical damage, multiple cells are failed, or the battery is extremely old (10+ years). We'll be honest about when it's time to replace.
